Cathy and Cathi at Milan Dragway

Inspired by Julia & Julia, we’ve annointed ourselves Cathy & Cathi.

We are heading out tomorrow on our very first cross-country road trip from Michigan to California.  We are GEEKED to get going on this adventure!

The plan -
Start in Michigan, land in Pomona, California 8 days later – with stops in St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver, Mesa Verde National Park (NP), Arches NP, Mt. Zion NP, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, Pomona and return via Scottdale, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Albuquerque, Oklahoma City, Ft. Smith, Memphis, Nashville, and Louisville

Quotes from friends -

  • enjoy the ride; forget the schedule
  • watch out for snowy mountain passes
  • ya gotta see this…. ya gotta see that….
  • only 3 hours scheduled for Sedona?!?

We shall see how much we can pack in!

Stay tuned…
