Socializing in St. Louis
Gateway Arch
Cathi and Cathy spent Saturday night catching up with Cathy’s old college friend Michelle at Scott AFB. In addition to the usual ‘how ya been’ conversation, we played “horsey” with Michelle’s young daughter. Neeeigh!!!!
After breakfast this morning we were honored with a ‘concert’ performed by Elizabeth on “cookie tin drums”. Clap Clap Clap!
And lots of “cheese” time (pictures)!
Did you know there is a museum in the Gateway Arch in St. Louis? It was news to us, but happy news. We rode the tram to the top and peered out the little windows, giddy as school girls.
Thankfully we have had good driving conditions so far. A little misty rain came down tonight but at 35 degree F it was OK.
Tomorrow as we head across Kansas towards Denver, who knows what Mother Nature will bring.
